Dunedin’s premium indoor golf experience.
Tee Box was created to make golf more accessible and enjoyable in Dunedin, no matter the weather. Whether you’re here to play, practise, compete, or just have a great time with mates, our goal is to deliver a premium indoor golf experience that feels welcoming for everyone.
Built for year-round golf in Dunedin.
Tee Box started with a simple idea: golf should still be easy to enjoy when the weather turns. After arriving at the course one day only for the rain to settle in, the thought came up — why doesn’t Dunedin have an indoor golf centre?
That idea became Tee Box: a space where beginners, keen golfers, and everyone in between can come to play, practise, improve, and enjoy the game in a premium indoor setting.
It’s not just about training either. Tee Box is also a place to have a round with friends, enjoy a bit of friendly competition, and make golf more social, more accessible, and more fun.
Why Tee Box
The best indoor golf experience comes from combining premium technology, an easy-to-enjoy environment, and a space that works for both serious practice and social play.
Powered by Trackman
We use Trackman technology because of its accuracy and ease of use. You get access to key swing and ball data like smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, carry, club speed, ball speed, club path, face angle, and more.
300+ courses to choose from
From casual rounds to competitive sessions, Tee Box gives you access to more than 300 courses rendered in impressive detail, alongside games and shot analysis tools that make every visit worthwhile.

I initially came up with the idea for Tee Box when my flatmate and I were heading out to play a round of golf. However, when we arrived, the rain had settled in and we couldn’t play. We were left thinking what now? Ideas started flowing and I said “I wish we had an indoor centre to play at” and the rest was history as they say!

As the youngest of three boys, sport has always been a huge part of my life. Cricket is my main passion, but like most cricketers, I’ve developed a love for golf as well. I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people and building genuine connections, something that naturally carries into what we’re creating at Tee Box.

One of the best parts about being here is the chance to meet people from all backgrounds, whether they're just having fun with friends or putting in some serious practice. I enjoy helping others get the most out of their experience and making sure everyone has a good time while they're here.
Outside of Tee Box you’ll find me working with local sports teams through strength and conditioning. Tee Box is the perfect spot to bring people together through golf, and I’m stoked to be part of a team that makes that happen.

My golf coach told me one day to go to Tee Box, and take notes on different numbers I was trying to achieve with different golf shots, and I would say the same to any seasoned or beginner golfer who is trying to improve their game. I find the trackman technology that we have to be tremendously helpful in that aspect. Also the fun games and the endless amounts of world class golf courses makes for a pretty cool experience which I love.
I love meeting new people who come through Tee Box to have a whack so if you're keen for a chat or a friendly game, come down and get amongst it!

This year, I’m starting my first year at Otago University, where I’ll be studying surveying. When I’m not focused on studying or work, you can almost always find me on or near a golf course, making Tee Box a perfect fit for me.
With Dunedin’s unpredictable weather, golf can be tough, but that’s where Tee Box stands out. On those days when the weather isn’t so great, it’s a fantastic facility to get in some swings without having to worry about battling the elements. Whether you’ve never held a golf club before or you're a keen golfer who enjoys having a hit with some mates, TeeBox has you covered with a range of different courses and activities to suit your game.
I’m always up for a friendly chat or challenge, so if you can beat me in a closest-to-the-pin contest, I’ll shout you a snack at the bar.
